Winter training (Nov. – Apr.)
Just because we live in New England doesn’t mean we stop our dragon boat training during the winter months! In fact, we train 2x a week as a team. We’re in two types of gyms focusing on strength & conditioning as well as paddle erg training that simulates the dragon boat stroke.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSIONS
When: Sundays | 11:00AM – 1:30PM
Where: CrossFit City Line (Watertown, MA)
PADDLE ERG (PERG) SESSIONS
When: Tuesdays | 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Where: Power Rowing (Brookline, MA)
Water training (May – late Sept.)
Racing at dragon boat festivals gives the crew something to train towards. Our 2024 races will be in Philadelphia (PA), Boston (MA), Toronto (ON), Springfield (MA), Lake Champlain (VT), Hartford (CT), and Mercer (NJ)
