HEAD Coaches

The head coaches are part of the leadership team of WRC and provide direction to admins on training needs of the team. Head coaches are responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of the overall training program to help the team achieve its performance goals. This includes individual training plans in the gym and on small water crafts, strength and conditioning, paddle erg, and dragon boat water practices.

Previous Teams:

  • Iron Dragons, University of Toronto
  • OHDBC Hammerheads Mixed & Open (now True North Hammerheads and SLP Open), attending multiple national and international level races
  • Team Canada athlete in 2015

Coaching Experience: 9 years as WRC head coach. Previously coached the University of Toronto Iron Dragons to develop them from a local university team to a nationally ranked university team fielding multiple boats.

assistant STRENGTH & conditioning Coaches

S&C coaches are focused on the development and implementation of the strength and conditioning program for WRC members, especially during the winter training season from November through April. These coaches, along with the head coaches, program and run gym practices at Crossfit Cityline and develop the individual strength training program for athletes.
